BIOGRAPHY

Pietro Del Soldà was born in Venezia in 1973.

He works for the National Public Radio 3 since 2001 and he is author and conductor of the daily program “Tutta la città ne parla” and together with Edoardo Camurri of “Tutta l’umanità ne parla” a radio program of impossible interviews to the major authors of the past.

He collaborates with other cultural programs as “Uomini e Profeti”, “Radio3Mondo” and “Pantheon”.

He is Doctor in Philosopy at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice and writes about philosophy on the Sole24Ore weekly column.

In 2007 he published “Non solo di cose d’amore. Noi, Socrate e la ricerca della felicità” (Marsilio 2018, re-published with Feltrinelli in 2021, awarded the of the Libraries Prize in 2018 and Alessandro Leogrande Prize in 2019) and “Sulle ali degli amici. Una filosofia dell’incontro” (Marsilio 2020, Premio Città delle Rose 2020 e Premio Melvin Jones 2021).

He was awarded with the International Prize Flaiano 2018 for his radio career.
